CHRISTMAS PETITONS

I have signed up to Colin and Edith's 'Let's ban Christmas 'til 1st December' petition. Let's face it, by the time Christmas day comes it is a huge anti-climax and you're fed up with Christmas music and festive baubles. Keep it close I reckon - the 1st is time enough!

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

I have done quite a bit of my Christmas shopping online - now I hear you complain about my lack of keeping Christmas until after 1st Decemeber (see last post) and here I am doing my shopping, but to be honest, I have to spread the cost over a couple of months otherwise I would be skint... so anyway... Do you think shopping online somehow takes all the fun out of the whole thing? I don't know. Some say it does but then where is the fun in standing in the longest checkout queues in recorded history; or fighting your way through shoppers 6-deep at the games and toys counter in Debenhams? It just keeps things nice and simple. The only people it doesn't bless, I would think, would be postpeople whose bags must weigh a considerable amount more than usual with all the mail order pressies and the mountainous Christmas cards. Still, online shopping.. I think it is the way forward.

ONLINE SHOPPING AGAIN...

Another thing I like about online shopping... Tesco shops become something you can do anytime! Now that Andru Kyle has moved in with Claire and me we have no times free together to go shopping so I reckon we will have to resort to online shopping. How trouble free can life be? Does it really make life better to be able to never leave your house? I dont' know, but it is convenient!

Went to a Transition gig last night (if you don't know who they are a)shame on you and b) follow the link on this site). It was amazing as usual. Very talented young men with huge future I think. It is amazing to see such potential being strengthened and honed into a really powerful gift. I love them. If you join the mailing list you can download one of their singles for free. Well worth it I feel.

Got tickets to see Biffy Clyro in February - another band really worth checking out. They are playing the limelight in Belfast on Dec 4th just in case you fancy checking them out.
